Bundesliga kick-off

Last weekend, it was the first weekend we could finally entirely spend on watching football, changing from one green screen to another. Bayern Munich kicked off the new Bundesliga season on Friday at home against Schalke. And how! They humiliated the team from Gelsenkirchen, beating them with as much as eight goals – a historic start of the new season. They definitely laid down a marker for the rest of the season.

Leroy Sané, who came from Manchester City this season, made his debut for Bayern Munich. He was involved with three goals, two assists and one goal, all in all, a fantastic debut. Fans could still only enjoy the many goals from their homes – the match was played behind closed doors. It is still unclear when this will change.
