Brighton's various stadiums
Brighton played at several other stadiums before settling at The American Express Community Stadium: the club switched stadiums five times before moving into their current stadium in 2011. Brighton started footballing at County Cricket Ground in which they played only one year. They played a little bit longer in their next stadium, Goldstone Ground; 95 years. They stayed here until the stadium got sold. The club was forced to move after almost a century and settled at Gillingham Stadium, where they only played for two years. The fourth stadium Brighton played at was the Withdean Stadium, where they played several years before the construction of the club’s current stadium – Falmer Stadium – was finished.
