Stadion Feijenoord, commonly known as De Kuip, is a large stadium in Rotterdam, Netherlands. It was opened in 1937 and has been the home base of football club Feyenoord ever since. Nowadays, the stadium also hosts several concerts and events. Its original capacity used to be 64,000, but in 1994 it was converted to its current 51,117. Many European cup finals, matches of the Netherlands national football team and other cup finals, such as the KNVB cup, have been played in De Kuip.
