FA Community Shield
The FA Community Shield – formerly known as the Charity Shield – is an English football trophy. The trophy is awarded by the English Football Association every year at the annual football match in Wembley, London. The match is played between the Premier League champions and the holders of the FA Cup.
The first Community Shield match was played in 1908 between Manchester United and Queens Park Rangers. In 2002, the match was renamed the Community Shield.
The all-time record holder of the Community Shield are Manchester United with 21 wins (including 4 shares). Liverpool have won the Shield 15 times (5 shared) and Arsenal 14 (1 shared).
