Take a look at the Allianz Riviera

The Allianz Riviera is also known as the Stade de Nice, due to UEFA and FIFA sponsorship regulations. The opening game was played between OGC Nice and Valenciennes. The stadium would have been built earlier but the plans were put on hold due to financial concerns. They started focussing on other projects instead. With the EURO 2016 – that would take place in France – in mind, the constructions started again. Nice was one of the host cities, so a brand-new stadium with a four-star rating of UEFA was instantly put to use in a great football tournament. The Allianz Riviera also hosted the female World Championships in 2019. The World Championships of rugby takes place in 2023 at the Allianz Riviera.
